Crump Life Insurance Services (formerly BISYS Insurance) is the nation's leading independent distributor of life insurance and makes available the industry's most comprehensive platform of insurance products. Financial professions can access a wide variety of products through this platform, including traditional and variable life, long-term care, disability, and annuity products. This platform currently links more than 100,000 financial services professionals with the insurance products manufactured by approximately 200 leading insurance companies, and currently supports the sale of insurance products with annual policy premiums exceeding $300 million.

Crump Insurance is currently seeking a HR Manager to join its Harrisburg team.


This progressive "hands-on" role will provide strategic HR leadership in several HR disciplines, including but not limited to: employee relations, compensation, workforce planning and staffing, project management, and organizational development. This role will also be a member of a team focused on the adding value to a fast paced organization. This role will have multiple and shifting priorities which will require a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background working in a progressive sales/service organization. In addition, our candidate must also demonstrate a keen understanding of business principles, working knowledge in various HR disciplines, and experience partnering with offsite business leaders.

In addition to the above, the following minimum qualifications will be required for consideration:
- Bachelors degree in HR or Business Management
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a strategic role within a sales/service organization.
- Strong project management experience- both as a team member and project leader.
- Ability to provide input on departmental direction and continually bring new ideas to the table.
- Understanding of business as a whole and general service-profit chain methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation).
- Energized by projects and program development.
- Desire to learn, grow and be challenged in their career on a continuous basis.
- Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Office
