Check data quality from various input data sources such as membership data, medical/pharmacy claims data, lab data and other demographic data. Provide ad hoc data analyses and statistical support to sales, marketing, and other HMC business units. Provide timely consultative analytical support to internal stakeholders and clients. Health Information Consultant Senior (E13):In addition to the responsibilities described above: Partner with sales and account management for continued enhancement of the sales opportunity analysis process. Perform comprehensive ad hoc analysis to measure the clinical and financial outcomes of various care management programs.The ideal candidate will have: Health Information Consultant (E12): BA/BS, or equivalent combination of education and experience, and at least 3 years related experience in research, analysis and reporting required.  Advanced degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related quantitative/analytical fields preferred. Willingness to learn healthcare related concepts and terminology. Strong logical thinking and problem solving skills. Advanced SAS and T-SQL skills/experiences. Experiences/skills in processing and analyzing large data sets. Health Information Consultant Senior (E13):In addition to the above qualifications:Ability to apply quantitative analytical tools and techniques to solve practical business problems. Ability to report, interpret and present analytical results. Health care industry experience preferred. Excellent written and varbal communication skills.
