IT Audit Manager

Major Duties and Functions Include: This position will be conducting audit reviews in our Lines of Business and in Enterprise Technology. Functional Responsibilities include the following: Conducts studies of limited-to-moderate complexity to assess the soundness, adequacy, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of the enterprises operational and information systems' controls. Reports on findings to business and IT management and assists in compiling reports for senior management. Devises and recommends remedies to faulty systems and procedures; to the extent possible, assists in their implementation. Participates in and/or manage audit projects, completing assigned tasks and responsibilities within the assigned budget and timeline, and explaining variances. Acts as the primary client contact; communicates findings and develops resolutions with audit management and business client; consults with clients in developing action plans to resolve control issues or risks; handles the resolution of high risk issues with management; maintains a positive working relationship with auditees; maintains an ongoing relationship with key business contacts. Develops moderate to complex audit strategies and conduct comprehensive process audits using department guidelines and state of the art electronic testing techniques that provides management with an independent appraisal of internal controls. What You Need to Succeed: At least 3 years experience working in an IT Project Lead environment Experience in a Big Four Public Accounting environment in Infrastructure, Investments and/or Data Analytics. Working knowledge of one or more operating system platforms. Working knowledge of one or more security products including RACF, NT, etc. Experienced in applying audit data analysis tools (ACL, SAS, CULPRIT, Somersoft, KANE Security Analyst, etc.) on each audit engagement preferred. Strong analytical ability. Ability to deal effectively with people of all levels of the corporate structure. Demonstrated ability to achieve results and work independently. Strong oral and written communication skills. CISA certification (or working on the completion of it) preferred. Bachelors’ degree preferred in computer science or other technical field.
