IT Project Manager

Premera Blue Cross is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join the IT PMO. The IT PMO team is responsible for providing project management support for the entire portfolio of projects at Premera. As a member of a Project Management Office team, this role will be engaged in leading a broad range of application development and infrastructure projects in the Healthcare Clinical/Care Management domain. Project Managers in the IT PMO are responsible for managing medium to large sized projects from the work intake process through all phases of the project life cycle. Project Managers are expected to work under minimal direction and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements: 5 years of managing multiple, complex multi-team information technology (IT) projects. The project manager will provide input to determine complex project scope, develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risks, issues and have responsibility for project change management. Identify and negotiate for necessary pooled resources to meet project goals. Develop and execute project communication plans. Must Have: Demonstrated knowledge of formalized Project Management Methodologies (such as Waterfall and/or Agile) and SDLC Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
