WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
Successful incumbents will be responsible for:Leverage project management capabilities and methodology across all projects. Provide project leadership on all phases of the project lifecycle, managing to timeline, budget, scope, and quality requirements. Proficient in developing cost benefit analysis and post-implementation measurements. Develop effective working relationships with project sponsor, business owner, team members, and stakeholders. Qualified candidates will have the following requirements:3-5 years of Project Management experience required, including proven leadership skills on projects spanning business and technology components. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Excellent customer service skills Ability to drive change in a complex matrix environment PMP certification desirable. Financial Services (Life Insurance, Investment Products, etc) knowledge preferred. Level of Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Management/Leadership Skills, Strong people motivation, ability to lead cross-functional team in achieving team objectives. Excellent attention to detail, time management, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to think out of the box and provide creative solutions. Ability to effectively manage the project scope, timeline, and budget while delivering quality implementations. Experience using an Agile or iterative project methodology is desirable. Experience managing New Product implementations is desirable.
