Insurance Assistant - Commercial Lines

Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an entry level Assistant to join our Commercial Lines team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic team, and learn the insurance business from the ground up from talented, seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities include:
Assist service teams in providing prompt, accurate, courteous and professional service to commercial lines accounts, including technical and administrative support.

1. Support service teams by processing a range of documents including, but not limited to:
a. Attachments and Filing
b. ID Cards and basic certificates
c. Direct Bill inquiries
d. Order routine loss runs

2. Maintain accurate policy files in agency management system, at the direction of the Account Managers and Team Leaders. Identify any other policies for clients being worked on that have not renewed.

3. Create renewal letters and mailing labels to mail with renewal policies to the customer.

4. Assemble and label customer files for new and renewal accounts.

5. Assemble binder books containing new and renewal insurance policies, organize with tabs and cover sheets for producer delivery to customer.

6. Maintain paper files, shredding and archiving as appropriate.

7. Order office supplies for the Commercial Lines Department.

8. Follow department policies and procedures closely, prioritizing work according to established guidelines.

9. Assist Commercial Lines Managers in any special projects needed.
