Regional Reporting, Inc. (RRI) is one of the largest independly owned providers of loss control to the commercial and industrial insurance industry. RRI’s Dedicated Consultant Division provides full time staff to our insurance company clients.  We currently have an opening for a Senior Worker’s Compensation - Casualty Specialist:

 

Senior Safety Consultant  Houston, TX

 

This position will provide loss control related services to our client’s insured worker’s compensation accounts. The person in this position is responsible for the quality, expense and timeliness of the services provided to a variety of accounts in metro Dallas.

 

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our insurance company client offers their insureds targeted loss control services to mitigate risk and improve profitability. Their mission is to provide valued-added business solutions that respond directly to the client's loss experience and exposures. In doing this the following are some of the major responsibilities associated with this position:

q Develop loss control strategies and services that achieve a reduction in losses and assure quality customer service;

q Provide technical and regulatory guidance to clients and underwriters on loss control related issues, including risk identification, evaluation and control.

q Coordinate delivery of safety/health related services.

q Develop detailed technical reports and recommended actions plans on client activities and risks; provide required report/documentation on account management activities

 

SKILLS:

Ø  Min. 5 years loss control consulting or industry experience in safety and health; hands-on industry experience is a plus.

Ø  General knowledge of insurance industry and business operations.

Ø  Public speaking/ presentation skills.

Ø  Knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to safety and health.

Ø  Proficient in Microsoft Office, EXCEL and PowerPoint.

Ø  CSP, ARM, CPCU or related certifications.

Ø  Must meet state regulatory compliance qualifications, where applicable.

Ø  Unrestricted use of personal protective equipment e.g., respirators, hard hats, safety glasses, etc.

Ø  Highly developed project & time management abilities, and strong personal interaction and team-building skills.

Ø  Ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Ø  USL&H experience a plus.
