Insurance Sales - Account Executive

Coventry Health Care of Georgia, a leader in the managed care industry, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our thriving Coventry One Individual product team. Our office is located north of Atlanta near I -285 & I-75 near the Cobb Galleria. This sales executive position will be responsible for selling the individual health plan to brokers, and will be accountable for achieving company defined sales objectives.
- Develops and implements annual sales plan
- Responds to all broker requests and develops proposals and quotes for presentation
- Ensures compliance with company and state regulatory and policy requirements.
- Majority of time is spent external to place of business on outside sales related to (retaining and/or renewing) membership.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Must have GA State licensure to sell insurance -- required.
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales of products and/or services.
- Previous experience in health insurance and/or managed health care preferred.
- Thorough understanding of the sales process. Previous training in advanced sales techniques preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Office products, such as Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills required.
