Insurance Technician II  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Processing Insurance-related correspondence·  Reviewing, verifying and documenting correct Insurance information extracted from various systems·  Verifying maintenance of adequate Insurance coverage·  Performing research·  Reviewing cancellations and re-instatements·  Contacting Insurance carriers and/or Agents·  Performing placement of Lender-Placed Insurance   A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High school diploma, GED or equivalent·  1+ year(s) of related experience·  PC skills—including proficiency with word-processing and data-entry functions·  Ability to type 35+ wpm·  Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail·  Ability to follow-through to the end of assigned projects and/or tasks·  Excellent communicational skills·  Strong comprehension and listening skills·  Ability to correctly interpret numerical data  The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  2 years of Insurance, Mortgage Banking or related experience   Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
