Insurance broker - wholesale

Job Description: This position is at American E & S, a wholesale insurance broker.Responsible for generating new business in conjunction with servicing and maintaining existing accounts in the Excess and Surplus Lines Department. Solicits applications from retail insurance agencies and inside brokers in person and on the phone. Analyzes accounts and markets to outside facilities. Responsible for the production, management, retention & collection of premiums for self-generated accounts and/or those assigned by management. Analyzes exposures and coverages needed. Develops and maintains sales records, meeting budgeted objectives and goals pertaining to new and renewal business. May have training and supervisory responsibilities. Appropriate agent and/or brokers license required. Minimum Qualifications: Property-casualty license required.Book of wholesale insurance business required.
