Provides general clerical support for a functional unit or office, such asdistributing mail, copying and assembly of documents, faxing, filing,proofreading and basic telephone support.

Sorts and distributes mail; prepares outgoing mail as appropriate. Faxesdocuments per instructions from originator.

Photocopies documents; sets up and maintains document files following standardprocedures and performs routine filing.

Proofreads records, forms, correspondence or other documents.

Responds to telephone inquiries and handles routine problems and requests.Answers telephone for others, takes messages and refers callers to appropriateindividuals or departments.

Types simple memos or letters; enters information into computer using relatedsoftware (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)

Works under general supervision.

Provides support for individual team needs.

Coordinates with other departments, as appropriate.

Organizes and maintains work and supply staging areas.

High School diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training, orequivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in the use general office machines and PCs using related businesssoftware applications.

Good math and writing skills.

Good organizational skills.
