Internal Sales Associate

MetLife’s responsiveness to the needs of both clients and employees is a direct result of one of the core company values– People Count. Major Duties and Functions Include:  ·  Provides internal wholesaling and marketing services for individual insurance products to specified accounts or territories. ·  Drives product sales by working in coordination with external wholesalers to maximize customer service and relationships. ·  Services the requirements of smaller accounts or territories. ·  May service captive agents, broker/dealers, brokerage firms, financial planners, banks, consultants, and/or independent agents. ·  Partners with external wholesalers to create and strengthen sales activity. ·  Assists in executing sales call campaigns. ·  Identifies client needs and suggests product offerings and marketing strategies.  What You Need to Succeed: ·  College Degree or equivalent experience.·  Must Obtain Series 6, 63, and State of CA Insurance License within 4 months of hire.·  Strong Customer Service Skills.·  Excellent Communication/ Interpersonal Skills.·  Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.·  Motivated and driven to reach sales goals in fast paced environment.·  Works well in a team atmosphere and also independently.·  Inside sales experience a plus. Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
