Java Developer - Web/UI Specialist

· Complete understanding of common web technologies. (i.e. HTML, XML, AJAX, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, etc.)

· Ability to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex problems

· Excellent technical communication skills

· Creative, positive outlook in dealing with complex projects and short time frames

· Solid understanding of MVC, OOP and software design patterns

· Experience developing enterprise web applications

· Thorough understanding of SOA and API design

· Implementing best practices for software code development, re-usage, and componentization


· 5+ years experience with Java web technologies

· Proficiency with AJAX / JavaScript

· Developed UI design skills
· Experience with an understanding of scaling issues is a must

· Familiarity with Eclipse

· Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills

· Experience with version control software (SVN) is a plus
