LINUX/AIX Expert needed ASAP!!!

Emphasis will be on AIX Operating System Administration. The team is responsible for our AIX and LINUX servers, and those responsibilities include:  ·  Complex incident resolution including: identifying solution alternatives, recommending and implementing courses of action, and resolution of the incident.·  Document solutions for future reference ·  Communicate event trends for automation or root cause analysts·  Work with a variety of areas including: customers, co-workers, business partners, server type owners and service providers ·  Work closely with Incident Management and other Server Technicians·  Perform Hardware and Operating System Incident resolution for the AIX and LINUX infrastructure servers·  Report hardware incidents to the appropriate areas and resolve such incidents while maintaining incidents ownership ·  Track and implement changes to the AIX and LINUX infrastructure servers·  Monitor Servers for changes, performance characteristics, and availability·  Load and configure AIX LPARS, VIO servers and LINUX servers·  Apply Issuances to servers·  Change Management ·  Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS  Expert with the AIX and LINUX Operating System and system administration best practices (2-4 years experience) 2-4 years of experience with command line administration of AIX servers 2-4 year of experience with HACMP 2-4 years of experience with WSM and HMC administration 2-4 years of experience with SAN networked systems Expert in analyzing and resolving complex hardware and operating system Incidents Experience of IBM UNIX hardware and LPARS & VIO Servers (2-4 years experience) Experience with LINUX running on Intel hardware (2-4 years experience) Strong knowledge of DNS & TCP/IP Expert in file system maintenance using NFS and LVM Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to adapt to a changing environment and priorities Strong focus on customer service  Serious Candidates should send their word version resumes to riamatta@spherion.com or call immediately @ 630-919-2907 Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
