Emerson, Reid & Co. Inc. is looking for a Large Group Coordinator; this position will be based in our Englewood, NJ office.

 

The Large Group Coordinator will support the Sales Representative on 51 plus groups.  This individual would be responsible for marketing RFP’s for medical, dental, life, LTD and STD lines of coverage to numerous carriers. As the information comes back from carriers, it will be the Large Group Coordinators job to create, and modify when needed, proposals using excel and power point. Much of the person’s time would be spent supporting the broker-ERC relationship, training brokers and performing rate/renewal analysis from within the office. Special projects as required. Knowledge of Health and ancillary plans, carriers and quoting abilities is required.

 

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and vendors through frequent contact;Assist in the preparation of new business and renewal proposals for sales producers;Coordinate new business RFP’s and renewals;Work with sales producer and vendor to negotiate rates, when required, to secure new business and maintain existing business. Process new business applications, and insure that cases are installed quickly and accurately by the vendor;Update client database on an ongoing basis, and create and maintain case files that included all critical client information based on implemented workflows;Identify account rounding opportunities for ancillary and worksite products; Respond to voicemail, email and phone calls in a timely manner;Communicate regularly with management and other staff members regarding all aspects of administration to ensure service excellence.

Experience/Specifications: One to three years of experience in an employee benefits related field;Life, Accident & Health License a plus;
