This position acts as the single point of accountability to plan, direct andcoordinate moderately complex, medium-sized projects to ensure that goals andobjectives are accomplished with high quality, within established time framesand budget, and meet customer and/or business needs.

Creates and reviews project proposal or plans and sets project objectives.

Manages scope and scope change requests.

Completes cost/benefit analysis.

Plans and directs schedules and budgets.

Monitors projects form initiation through delivery and monitors for continuousimprovement.

Analyzes, interprets and derives meaning from data.

Identifies and develops contingency plans to mitigate and address risks.

Takes responsibility for benefits realization and meeting milestone and budgettargets.

Develops new project management tools and methods.

Administratively closes out projects.

Assembles the project team, assigns and monitors work of team members andprovides guidance and leadership.

Communicates with and influences internal and external stakeholders on projectsteps and objectives.

Trains, develops, coaches and mentors other team members.

Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years cross-functional, cross-disciplinary projectmanagement and business analysis experience or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.

Experience writing business requirements.

Experience managing complex projects with multi-month timelines.

Exposure to organization change and communication issues.

Knowledge of the key components of project management (e.g.-scope, time, cost,quality, human resources, communication, risk, integration) and associated toolsand methodologies.

Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.

Preferred experience: executing strategic business plans, managing complexprojects, managing organization change and communication, process improvement,supervisory, consulting and/or multi-discipline experience.

Insurance industry or health care experience helpful.

Project management certification (e.g.- PMI) desirable.



Quality management experience (e.g.- Six Sigma) desirable.
