John Hancock can be found on the internet at www.johnhancock.com Manulife Financial Corporation trades as 'MFC' on the TSX, NYSE and PSE, and under '0945' on the SEHK Key Focus:   Process, update, and maintain life brokerage agreements, as well as, the related documentation pertaining to compensation for John Hancock’s Distribution Partners. The Brokerage Contract Agreements Representative administers contracting and assists the Account Managers in ensuring distributors are contracted correctly with JHLICO, JHVLICO, JHUSA, and/or JHNY in order to sell life insurance products.  The incumbent will work with Account Managers in contracting distributors, including but not limited to, making sure all documents are complete and accurate.   Responsibilities: Work within established deadlines and meet time standards when responding to inquiries by providing accurate information Work with Account Managers to qualify John Hancock’s Distribution Partners for agreements, execute and implement agreements.  Track contract documentation to and from the Distribution Partner to ensure proper handling and processing Handle phone and e-mail inquiries Update compensation schedules for all agency levels when required Maintain records and files for easy access when necessary, including both paper and electronic files Work with John Hancock’s internal clients on a daily basis (Licensing, Compliance, Commissions, etc.) Work within compliance guidelines Investigate and resolve complex business needs/issues that arise within critical turnaround times Handle periodic processing of reports Post-secondary education or high school diploma and equivalent business experience 1+ years of life insurance industry experience or 1+ years of processing life brokerage agreements preferred LOMA, Life Insurance licenses, or other designations preferred Proficient in all Microsoft Office products with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong verbal and written skills Ability to work as a team player Strong customer service skills required Work independently with minimal supervision Ability to handle multiple tasks, be flexible and able to adapt to a fast paced, ever-changing environment Previous experience in the insurance industry or an understanding of how contracting works between a home office and a distribution partner is an asset Ability to communicate and work with both internal and external clients Ability to support any decisions that are required to be made while understanding the downstream affects of those actions  Ability to use technical knowledge to solve complex problemsJOHN HANCOCK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER - AA/F/M/D/V JOB INFORMATION Company: Manulife Financial Location: Boston, MA 02108 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Customer Support/Client Care Learn more about the company Click here for video Length: 1:15 min Vibrant Culture     •     Wealth of Opportunity     •     Company with a Conscience
