Loss Control Consultant

Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (CCMSI), a leading Third Party Administrator, is seeking a qualified Loss Control Representative for the Central Illinois region. 

 

Primary responsibility will be to guide implementation of risk management procedures, conduct safety meetings and prepare materials and manuals to members for the Trucking Industry. 

 

Ideal candidate will require the following criteria:

 

-  Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or equivalent 

-  Minimum of five years experience in Risk Management and Worker’s Compensation in the Trucking Industry  OR Minimum of seven years diverse experience in Loss Control Capacity

-  Excellent oral and written communication skills

-  General proficiency with PC using Microsoft programs

-  Presentation skills for training sessions

-  Ability to work with minimal supervision

-  Ability to analyze past losses, evaluate potential exposures and develop controls of those exposures with proactive solutions that are followed through

- Ability to provide safety training to supervisors and managers and work with administration to minimize work-related accidents

- Valid driver's license and ability to drive

- Overnight travel
