MERCURY QUICK TEST PRO AUTOMATED TESTER

The person coming in will develop scripts for Quick Test Pro for the browser based applications. These include the clients' desktop applications, non-secure Web sites content, secure Web sites and workflow management products.The consultant will be responsible for the following:Develop Quick Test Pro scripts for browser based applications. Applications are used via the Internet, CITRIX, and intranet. Scripts must be flexible and easily maintained. Perform, with minimal guidance and oversight, script development for testing efforts and interactions with testers, developers and system support staff through mastering details of applications under test. Develop and execute scripts based on test matrices based on functional requirements provided by application knowledgeable testers. Provide OJT for other testers on scripts developed. Report deviations from expected results and retest when changes are made to address deviations. Provide status on testing efforts to include: how much testing has been done and remains to be done; status of problems discovered; and progress towards meeting expected delivery.

This person must know Quick Test Pro well enough to build flexible and maintainable scripts. Very good communication skills and able to work with developers, testers and managers. Likes a dynamic shifting environment. Very knowledgeable of Internet, browser and application of testing theory. Demonstrates, builds and promotes teamwork.
