Summary: Provides external wholesaling and marketing services to specified accounts or territories for individual insurance products and services. Drives product sales by promoting product through third parties, and/or creating and providing business plans, sales goals, training, and support for sales producers. Builds and maintains strong relationships to foster and build sales growth. Functional Responsibilities: Working independently, services the requirements of large and/or important accounts or territories, which are comprised of captive agents, broker/dealers, brokerage firms, financial planners, banks and/or independent agents. Drives sales within assigned accounts/territory. May assist in developing business plans, training producers, supporting prospecting activities, and conducting point of sale work. May conduct product training and product sales seminars. Develops new business opportunities and sales growth by initiating and maintaining strong producer relationships. Identifies client needs and available resources to support planned sales activity. Typical Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education. NASD Series 6 & 63 & Life Insurance License. Excellent presentation skills, both in creation and delivery, to current and prospective clients. 3-5 years experience Wholesaling Investment Products (internal, external or combination) Thorough knowledge of and proven ability to demonstrate sales and marketing principles and practices.Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
