Manager - P&C Underwriting

Major Duties and Functions Include: Manages staff of several underwriting units. Monitors market results, and provides guidance to meet and exceed business plan objectives. Monitors efficiencies and quality for territory, unit, or department. Makes recommendations for adjustments as needed to achieve results. Performs other related duties as assigned or required. Supervisory Responsibilities: Full people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development.  What You Need to Succeed: Strong financial acumen and analytical skills Proven supervisory skills Strong presentation and communication skills 5-7 years Underwriting experience Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
