This position is responsible for Product Development and Quality Assurance for the E&S unit. Ensures the unit achieves all service, quality, compliance and coding/issuance goals. The functions include, but are not limited to:

Product Development - works with branches, Corporate Underwriting, other E&S staff, and other XL units to enhance, modify, and develop various forms, endorsements, and other E&S product offerings, including updates to internal documents and systems.

Quality Assurance - performs internal and external underwriting audits and works with branches to achieve individual and unit quality goals.



Requirements

-Demonstrated proficiency in the area of performing underwriting quality control audits for outside agents and internal underwriting departments.

-Direct experience with product development, including language development, updates to internal systems/guides, communicating changes to underwriting staff.

-Detailed oriented. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and work with little direct supervision.

-10+ plus years in Commercial Property/Casualty Insurance underwriting, product development or similar role, preferably in a brokerage environment.

-Good working knowledge and familiarity with ISO General Liability and Property rating.

-Excellent knowledge of forms, policy language, legal environments and potential court interpretations.

-Good knowledge and familiarity with wholesale brokers and/or general agents.

-Good computer skills for data analysis and generation of reports.
