Market Administrative Assistant

This position is part time working 20 hours per week without benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Market Executives and staff in MARKET 4 in daily business affairs and in the planning and execution of administrative projects. Also provide some administrative support for Area Business Managers as required. Provides direct secretarial support to the team.

Performs various administrative tasks, including maintaining distribution lists, updating division corporate calendar entries and other items. Works on special projects as assigned including the coordination of meetings and events.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have strong project planning and organizational skills. Excellent typing and PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Office Suite). Strong business writing and editing skills, requires excellent punctuation and grammar skills.

Proven ability to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills needed to interact effectively with members, employees and others in a professional and tactful manner. Must have command of the English language and be able to effectively express oneself writing, in person and over the telephone.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Overall knowledge of CSAA line of business practices, procedures and culture. Administrative experience as a direct report to senior management staff (minimum 3 - 5 years required). BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
