Marketing Assistant-WSA

Description:With general supervision, provides administrative and processing support to the Marketing staff. Provides information and coordinates activity with various departments to ensure quality service for prospective clients. Exercises initiative and independent judgment to solve problems of limited scope and complexity. In connection with your job posting for this position, an investigative report will be obtained on you, which will include criminal conviction records and a credit report. The appropriate disclosure/release forms will be provided to you for your signature. These reports are necessary given the licensing/apppointment requirement associated with this position.Qualifications:Education/Experience: Associate degree in a business related field or equivalent preferred with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a commercial insurance independent agency environment. Licenses in property and casualty as required by state law. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Proficient computer skills working with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Evidence of good work organization skills. Evidence of strong customer service skills.
