Please read on for the full job description...Make timely and appropriate contacts and completes appropriate level of investigation to make determination of coverage, liability and damages. Determines exposure and makes timely adjustments as required. To successfully perform this job, the individual must be able to perform each essential job responsibility satisfactorily. Possesses complete knowledge of all company service contract programs, underwriting guidelines, and claim settlement procedures. Standard: Possesses a working mastery of service contract content for all company programs, as well as underwriting guidelines and claim settlement procedures, requiring minimal supervision.2. Proficiently uses computer to adjust and settle all types of mail-in and telephone claims. Standard: Is skillfully proficient in use of a computer for adjusting any degree of claim difficulty, able to verify parts and labor pricing and document claim in all cases.3. Determines validity and adequacy of dealer repair orders and loss reports. Ensures parts and labor charges are accurate and reasonable. Standard: Is highly proficient in determining adequacy of dealer claim.4. Handles any telephone inquiries from customers or the field. Standard: Handles, in a timely and professional manner, any kind of inquiry from the field.5. Maintains good working relationships with field personnel and customers. Standard: Maintains excellent working relationships with dealers and customers as confirmed by the client.6. Performs other duties as assigned.
