Reimbursement SpecialistTemp-To-Hire for the Right Candidate!!Somerset, NJOur client, a health care services company, is seeking several Medical Claims Denial Reps - Reimbursement Specialists.  The right candidates will have at least two years in physician/surgical practice environment, insurance communications and/or other medical billing experience.  Come work for the largest pharmaceutical distributor in North America!Requirements: 2+ years experience in physician billing and collections Familiarity with medical billing/coding terminology and procedures Neurosurgery and plastic surgery billing experience is a plus Experience calling insurance carriers regarding payments and claims status Calling patients and clients to verify insurance information Strong Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency Strong computer proficiency Minimum 7,500 KPH Team player with ability to work independentlyResponsibilities may include: Providing administrative and clerical support for department managers and/or staff members Taking and delivering messages and providing information to callers Setting up and maintaining files, providing employees with office supplies, and preparing and sorting mail Performing word-processing assignments, proofreading, and researching and compiling special reports Operating automated office equipment and utilizing software Assisting in the preparation of reports, graphs, and presentations using spreadsheet, graphic software, and/or database applications Acting as an information source on organization policies and procedures Assisting in establishing office policies and procedures Coordinating special projects and department activitiesPlease send resumes in MS Word format to princeton@spherion.com .
