Medical Management Correspondence Supervisor Tacoma, WABring your management expertise to the following role: Organize, monitor, schedule and assist in the development of case management, disease management and utilization management correspondence, in order to meet performance standards and service goals Manage consistent procedure, staff development and process improvement activities Participate in strategic plan development and implementation Supervise medical management technicians and analysts Develop each employee through coaching, identifying training and performance needs, motivating and providing developmental opportunities, with the overall goal of keeping our members first always Maintain effective teams by staffing, training, evaluating performance and establishing department goals and a supportive work environment Combine your degree and healthcare experience with the following skills: Bachelor's degree in business or health related field Minimum of 4 years experience in a health related field or equivalent combination of experience and education 1 year lead, supervisory or other management experience, preferably at Regence Extensive and varied background in a health related field Knowledge of health insurance industry trends and new technology Demonstrated business or technical writing skills with proper punctuation, spelling and grammar to create written instructions, memos and correspondence Ability to plan, organize, direct and evaluate programs, projects and staff work schedules Capability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks Working knowledge of computer software applications (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) Strong analytical ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement actions Ability to work with all levels of management and internal and external customersHard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16369.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
