The Claims Administrator is a challenging position and will work in a team that is involved in supporting a dedicated book of insurance business.  Responsibilities include completing primary liability determinations, managing medical only and initial lost time claims, completing state form filings and processing lost time payments.  There is considerable contact with client employers, injured workers and nurse case managers.  This position will be located in New Mexico and is a work from home position.  The person in this position must be a New Mexico resident.

 

We seek candidates with high interpersonal skills, flexibility, customer focus and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent work experience, a minimum of 5 years workers' compensation claims experience in New Mexico, preferably in the TPA/self-insured environment, and knowledge of legal, medical and insurance terminology.
