Member Sales Representative
Summary: Makes a high volume of outbound telephone calls to current and/or potential customers as well as handles inbound calls from members. Solicits orders for products or services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Makes high volume of phone calls to members for the purpose of building relationships and offering appropriate products for purchase by being alert to member needs, through assessments. Provide feedback identifying sales trends and member needs.
· Explain features/benefits of products and provide information about member benefits.
· Track activities: calls, follow-ups, call backs, call transfers, applications mailed, completes returned applications.
· Meet productivity goals, number of calls made, contacts, sales and completed applications.
· Schedule may vary upon company’s needs.
Qualifications:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2 years related experience, preferably in phone sales and/or service, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, product specifications and training material, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively over the phone including conversation control.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as premiums, interest, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of LifePro, App Tracking, Field Administration, Membership, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, contact management software, imaging software and the Internet.
