Member Service Representative

North American Medical Management - Illinois, Inc. is a national industry leader in the management of healthcare delivery systems. Currently we are seeking a Member Service Representative as described below.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This person will respond to member and physician calls, investigate and resolve issues regarding claims payment, and assist members with PCP selections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Answer incoming calls; 60-80 calls per day averageLog all calls into Member Service Module on computerCode inquires to other departments for resolution of caller’s issuesPossess ability to deal effectively in a demanding environmentAct as liaison between members/providers and all departments at NAMMFollow-up on outstanding issues in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, but college degree preferred. Must have least 2 years related insurance, managed care, or claims experience.Computer proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.People-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
