And we seek the visionary, driven individuals bold enough to chart the future with us.Member Services Le Portland, ORBring your leadership skills to the following role:Assist supervisor in accomplishing and supporting department and corporate strategic objectives by organizing, monitoring, training and scheduling staff activities to meet or exceed performance standards and service level goalsKeep lines of communication open between management and staffEstablish excellent rapport with all levels of staff and external customersFunction as a technical resource for the department or, alternatively, focus on training and coaching employees, depending on needs of the particular departmentLead employees Combine your experience in customer service with the following skill sets:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 5 years progressive work experience in customer service, claims processing, membership billing or enrollment, as applicable to position, or equivalent experience in the health care industryExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and communicate information with tact, diplomacy, patience and professionalismDemonstrated analytical ability in identifying problems, developing solutions, and implementing a course of actionComputer proficiency with Word, Excel and Lotus Notes and other corporate software program or comparable softwareAbility to prioritize and delegate workCapability to serve as a resource to correct technical and/or system(s) problemsAbility to recognize inappropriate or invalid claims or inquiries and research, resolve and communicate resolution to concerned partiesAbility to listen and communicate appropriately with provider community, members, employer groups, agents, member representatives, and coworkers in a manner that promotes positive, professional interaction while maintaining confidentialityHard work and dedication is rewarded at Regence: We offer a competitive salary and a generous benefits package.For consideration, please visit our Web site at www.regence.com/careers and Apply Online to Job #16598.We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to workforce diversity and a drug and smoke-free workplace.
