We are one of the leading insurance companies in the United States.  Our superior financial strength and consistent record of strong operating returns mean security for our customers - and opportunities for our employees.  You will find Travelers to be full of energy and a workplace in which you truly can make a difference. We are currently looking for a Messaging Engineer - Infrastructure and Architecture.  Please read on for more details regarding this position. JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary:Travelers Information Systems Infrastructure and Architecture organization is seeking an experienced Messaging professional.  The successful candidate will play an enterprise leadership role in the design and enhancement of technologies and services in support of the Travelers global messaging infrastructure.  This infrastructure supports over 30,000 Exchange mailboxes, hundreds of collaborative applications, and millions of e-mail/fax deliveries per day in a secure and compliant manner. The environment is rapidly moving towards a unified messaging solution where presence, voice, fax, e-mail, and collaborative solutions are integrated into a seamless enterprise service. In addition to specific messaging skills, the candidate will be challenged to leverage related disciplines such as performance/capacity planning and high availability/disaster recovery. Qualified Candidates Will Possess a Combination of the Following Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies. * Microsoft Messaging and Collaboration Products (Exchange, Office Communications Server, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office).* Mobile Messaging Technologies (BlackBerry, Exchange 2007 Mobile Access).* E-mail Content and Compliance Technologies (Archive, Anti-spam).* Working knowledge of the following: LDAP, POP3/IMAP, SMTP, MAPI, TLS, Sendmail, SQL, Fax, VOIP, Windows, Active Directory.* Strong project management skills.
