Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for providing support in analyzing, verifying and updating data that is used in various models to determine the company's loss exposures for wind and quake in various areas.  The incumbent will review data from source systems and compare it to the actual policies; discrepancies found will be updated in the data files for the models.  Incumbent will communicate those discrepancies back to the operations to be corrected in the source systems.  This position includes an ongoing audit process of the data.  The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining the documentation for procedures on the data analysis and the audit process.  As time permits, this person will assist in other areas of Staff Processing functions.

 

Qualifications

This position requires someone with the following qualifications:

Education:  High School/College/Business School
Experience:  Minimum of three years as Methods Analyst or other related experience
Skill:  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Access.  Property insurance background a plus.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate solutions to problems and write procedures.  Analytical abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks, knowledge of FM Global Business Systems.
