Manager, Financial Analysis  Primary Responsibilities Include:·  Conducting research, performing analysis and preparing reports (i.e. financial-forecast, profit-and-loss, expense and income statements)·  Developing models to forecast business conditions·  Leading projects that require the use of various models and methodologies to perform complex and sophisticated Financial-Analysis functions—including rate-of-return, depreciation, working capital, return-on-investment, budget variance, expense review and business-unit and/or corporate-performance analyses·  Assisting in creation and maintenance of Financial-Analysis procedures·  Reviewing and assessing the impact of changing market conditions on the business·  Collaborating with IT in the development of Financial-Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting programs and applications·  Providing consultation and/or expert financial advice·  Participating in final-decision processes that have a significant impact on departmental, business-unit and/or companywide financial management·  Devising new and innovative models and methodologies·  Supervising less than five people·  Completing assignments that require significant judgment and initiative in resolving problems, making decisions and providing recommendationsPresentation preparation for Executive level management  A Successful Candidate Will Have:·  High school diploma, GED or equivalent·  Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting or Economics (and/or equivalent experience)·  5+ years of Financial-Analysis experience—including experience with financial statements and basic Accounting principles·  Fluency with advanced features of various software applications—including proficiency with spreadsheet and database software/applications·  Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills·  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact and communicate with Senior Management and/or outside regulators, investors and business partners  The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:·  MBA and/or CPA designation·  Systems-Analysis and/or Programming skillsFluency with the following: -SQL Server and Database Management (SQL Server, Analysis Manager, Enterprise Manager, Data Transformation Services (DTS) Database, Access, Tables) -Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced formula creation, Visual Basic, VBA, Macros)  Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
