Mgr Medicare Prod Development & Mgmt

The Manager, Medicare Product Development & Management is responsible for product development and management of traditional Medicare products and management of the product related staff members within the Center for Healthy Aging. This includes working with CHA sales and the appropriate operational areas to determine the market need and feasibility for development of new products and enhancements to existing products. Responsible for all aspects of product development and produce enhancement from initiation through implementation, monitoring product performance and maintaining CHA’s Medicare product portfolio. Portfolio maintenance includes managing document revision processes, which support market, regulatory, clinical and operational requirements and managing the regulatory filing process with CMS and in all states where Medica’s Medicare products offered. Also accountable for maintaining and communicating intent of product and plan design for both internal and external audiences. Will lead cross functional teams engaged in efforts to successfully identify, design and implement innovative products that provide the right product to the right customer and the right time and at the right price.Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Medicare product development and management experience. 3+ years experience in managing and developing
direct reports. Experience in managing direct reports who home office or are located remotely preferred. Experience managing cross-functional teams resulting in successful product implementation. Experience in implementing regulations, contract provisions and best practice standards. Strong project and product lifecycle management skills. Knowledge of health care and health plan operations. Demonstrated leadership skills, including excellent interpersonal communication skills, creative and innovative problem-solving ability, process improvement and organizational skills, critical thinking and independent decision making ability, group facilitation and conflict management skills. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
