Unum is a company of people serving people.  As one of the world’s leading employee benefits providers and a Fortune 250 company, Unum helps protect more than 25 million working people and their families in the event of illness or injury.  Headquartered in Chattanooga Tennessee, Unum has significant U.S. operations in Portland, Maine, Worcester, Massachusetts and Glendale, California with 35 field offices nationwide. We are seeking an experienced, creative recruiting professional to develop and deliver recruitment strategies for exempt and non-exempt sales and service positions supporting our West Coast field offices.  Initial focus will be on our California offices in Glendale, San Francisco/Walnut Creek and San Diego. 5-7+ years of successful recruitment, selection and college relations experience. Excellent sourcing, rapport building and closing skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver creative recruitment strategies. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Initiative and ability to work independently. Ability and desire to travel regionally (Estimate 30% travel). Experience in insurance, financial services or pharmaceutical/ health care and supporting multiple locations preferred.
