Multi-line Claim Claims Adjuster Representative

State Auto Insurance Company, an eighty-six-old, A+ (Superior rated), multi-line, property-casualty insurance company has an opening for an experienced multi-line claim representative to either work in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, service office or from their home as a resident representative in southern/central West Virginia.  Duties will include investigation, evaluation, and settlement of both personal lines and commercial lines claims. The claims representative will be responsible for handling a wide variety of claims from beginning to end, including bodily injury, property damage, and first‑party property.

 

Qualified applicants will ideally possess five years of multi-line claim adjusting background.  Exposure to both personal and commercial claims is preferred.  Property and auto property damage estimating background is highly desired.  This position also requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.  A college degree and/or formal insurance education are desired.
