NETWORK ANALYST

The Network Analyst will provide 2nd level technical support of client desktop devices, applications and related systems.  The position is also responsible to analyze customer requests for 3rd party software related to personal computing devices and servers; inventory management of software licenses, developing scripts to deploy software packages to client desktops and report on software deployments; configure server systems inclusive of operating system, hardware, and specialized 3rd party software according to policy and standards.  The Network Analyst is also responsible to develop and maintain desktop images to ensure the integrity of the device and reduce resource time in the installation process; and manage and maintain enterprise backup for distributed systems.

 

Requirements include:

Associate's Degree in Computer Science or similar field

3 to 5 years experience as Network Analyst. 

Microsoft certification in one of the following is preferred -- MCP/A+/Network+/MCSA. 

Experience in supporting Microsoft Outlook and Exchange.

Experience in supporting enterprise backup solutions is required.

 

Preferred skills include: 

Server hardware and install server OS, loading 3rd party specialized software.

Deploy Security Patches, IIS, Ghost, Basic Scripting and WMI.

Experience in supporting the following hardware, HP Server Platforms and HP Desktops/Laptops. 

Some form of Active Directory exposure, Windows security, FTP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS,  SMTP and SQL.

Experience with Commvault Galaxy.
