Develops, negotiates, implements and maintains comprehensive provider and/orhospital networks within assigned service areas.

Works with other team members to meet member and provider service requirements.Schedules regular meetings with providers, identifies and addresses servicesissues and maintains ongoing communications.

Accountable for the financial results of the Plans within area ofresponsibility.

Negotiates and renegotiates terms and conditions of delivery system contracts.Ensures that all parties adhere to contractual terms and that corrective actionis taken when terms are not being met.

"Reviews member related reports to identify trends and initiates correctiveaction as needed.
Reviews financial documents to ensure timely and accurate payment."

Ensures that providers meet all regulatory, credentialing and otheraccreditation requirements.

May develop legal documents for each agreement explaining financial payments andrisk provisions.

Bachelor's degree and three years related experience and/or training orequivalent combination of education and experience.

Thorough knowledge of the health care industry and managed care deliverysystems.

Strong financial negotiating skills.
