Office Supervisory Jurisdiction Administrator

MetLife’s responsiveness to the needs of both clients and employees is a direct result of one of the core company values– People Count. Major Duties and Functions Include:  · Coordinates marketing operations within a sales division for the provision of insurance and financial services products for employees of non-for-profit and government organizations. · Improves processes through redesign to make the sales organization more efficient while maintaining timelines for reaching business objectives.  ·  Provides administrative support to sales and marketing management. · Ensures all activities are in compliance with company policy and fully supportive of marketing and financial goals.·  Maintains broker trading investment account files; processes orders and new account applications. ·  Works jointly with management to monitor and implement business plans. ·   Manages daily workflow and operations with divisional office administrator; acts as a back up on license registrations and updates; maintains all compliance files. ·  Provides oversight of expenses, company funds, and accounting. ·  Provides oversight of expenses, company funds, and accounting. ·  Acts as a back up to divisional office administrator in administering appointments, terminations, and promotions of personnel. ·  Performs other related duties as assigned or required. What You Need to Succeed: ·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience ·  Current FINRA/NASD Series 7 and Series 24 Licensures required ·  A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the Insurance Industry/ Financial Services Industry ·  Knowledge of compliance for financial services industry ·  Capable of understanding and implementing new technology to increase productivity and performance ·  Experienced with computer hardware and software, has strong technical skills, is proficient in MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc. ·  Experienced planner and organizer, capable of completing multiple tasks and meeting established objectives and deadlines ·  Effectively receives, interprets, and disseminates information verbally and in writing in a manner that is clear and precise and able to be acted upon ·  Capable of developing and introducing new ideas to enhance work processes and has the initiative to carry them through Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
