This position oversees the day-to-day operational functions of an ITS HostClaims work unit, to include work flow management, inventory and staffing needs,systems, procedures, reporting and training.

Oversees work activities and monitors work flow to ensure systems and proceduresare documented, training material developed and reports
generated to meet business needs.

Selects and motivates team members to ensure efficient and effective operationaloutcomes.

Responsible for scheduling, managing work flows and priorities, andcommunicating with other supervisors as needed to ensure effective teamwork.

Interprets guidelines, regulatory requirements, contractual agreements and otherrelated documentation as they pertain to the services provided by the unit.

Consults and makes recommendations to management on operational issues.

Leadership responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff;planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding andcounseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Provide necessary guidance to allow each team member to reach their fullestpotential.


BA degree or equivalent experience and five years related experience and/ortraining, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least three years progressively responsible experience in a related role inthe health care industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good leadership skills.
