Oracle DeveloperPosition Summary: Responsible for implementing business solutions utilizing all aspects of the system development life cycle. Strong analysis, design, organizational, and communication skills are required in addition to excellent PL/SQL, UNIX scripting and Oracle programming skills. Must have the ability to work well with a team in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels. Essential Position Functions: ** Design, write, modify and test programs, reports, shell scripts and system interfaces ** Develop and adhere to coding and testing standards ** Perform business and systems analysis ** Create and maintain documentation ** Utilize the system development life cycle to take projects from inception through implementation ** Perform integration and system testing during project development ** Create detailed design specifications as well as program specifications ** Develop efficient applications utilizing different technologies ** Ability to work with minimal supervision and willingness to mentor junior associates ** Create data models ** Estimate and manage small to mid-sized projects ** Have the desire and ability to learn new technologies ** Share knowledge, communicate effectively and professionallyTechnical Experience: Competence with UNIX shell scripting, Oracle 9i/10g, Oracle Forms 6i, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, and C/S development tools is required.
