We are one of the leading insurance companies in the United States.  Our superior financial strength and consistent record of strong operating returns mean security for our customers - and opportunities for our employees.  You will find Travelers to be full of energy and a workplace in which you truly can make a difference. We are currently looking for a Outside Property Claim Representative, Montgomery AL.  Please read on for more details regarding this position. JOB DESCRIPTION: Purpose:This position will be located in the Montgomery AL area but will report to our Alpharetta, GA location. Investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate and settle assigned claims in accordance with Best Practices.  Provide quality claim handling and superior customer service on assigned claims, while engaging in indemnity & expense management.  Promptly manage claims by completing essential functions including contacts, investigation, damages development, evaluation, reserving, litigation management, and disposition. Responsibilities and Duties:Handle minor to moderately complex property damage casesHandle Commercial and/or Personal lines claims.Strong focus on quality and speed of resolution of all claims.Partnership with business partners.Establish and maintain appropriate claim and expense reserves.Provide quality customer service.  Critical Success Factors:Customer FocusCommunicationAttention to DetailTeam WorkConflict ManagementFlexibleTeam PlayerNegotiatingSelf-disciplinedProblem SolverGoal Oriented  Knowledge and Skills:Physical agility (ability to climb, lift, stoop, and bend)Minimum of 1. 5 years Outside Personal Lines Property claim handling experience preferred.Prior Commercial Lines Property experience a strong plusSkills assessment evaluation may be requestedStrong customer service skills.Strong investigative skills and be able to develop good work relationship with the business partners.Ability to write accurate Xactimate estimates.Good decision making and problem solving skills.
