P&C Account Executive

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive. Our AEs are the face of the company and they are tasked to develop and maintain relationships with clients. They cover an assigned territory selling coverage to clients.

The opportunity for advancement and financial growth is great in this role. Tasks include:
Establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients, becoming their primary contact. Managing a portfolio of accounts by calling on policyholders to deliver and explain policy updates or renewals. Expand existing relationships by suggesting additions or changes to current programs, anticipating client needs. Ensure timely, accurate, consistent and efficient customer service to clients. Attend meetings with client and Keenan personnel to determine strategy, policy offerings, renewals, enrolments and anything included in the name of production.


Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Group insurance product knowledge, training and experience.
Must maintain Department of Insurance Agent license as well as a Life Agent license.
General knowledge of the decision making tendencies of California school districts.
Group insurance experience as either an insurance company representative or broker.
Underwriting background is helpful.
Knowledge of TPA concept and organization is useful.
Candidates must be an effective communicator – both oral and written.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s or equivalent.
