PROJECT COORDINATOR

Highmark Medicare Services Inc., a Camp Hill, PA based company, is responsible for the combined administration of Medicare Part A and Part B fee-for-service claims. We are currently seeking candidates for the following position based in Hunt Valley, MD: 

 

PROJECT COORDINATOR

 

This position is responsible for the following: Serving as departmental project lead on a variety of complex and/or high profile initiatives which could include Medicare Part A and Part B initiatives.  Supporting the implementation of mandated changes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Completing various CMS and management reports Creating and facilitating departmental training programs Leading departmental process improvement activities including Statistical Process Control teams. Developing and implementing procedures and protocols. Serving as the lead for business continuity planning including semi-annual audits. Maintaining departmental Intranet site.  

 

Required Qualifications: A high school diploma/GED and four years experience in a business environment OR a Bachelors degree in business/management. Two years project management experience. Two years experience in business writing.  

 

Other Qualifications: Project management certificate from accredited institution or other recognized professional training program.  Four years of experience in the Medicare Part A or Part B programs which should include hands on experience with the standard claims processing systems (MCS and/or FISS) and researching CMS guidelines in the Internet Only Manual and other publications. Two or more years experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Two years of experience with techniques used for Continuous Process Improvement. One year of experience working with Highmark Medicare Service's Quality Management System.
