PROJECT MANAGER, INFORMATION SYSTEMS

All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years IT Industry experience in order to apply.  No 3rd party resumes accepted. Location: Newark, NJ Project ManagerThe  project manager is accountable and responsible for managing projects from initiation through closure and ensures the quality of the deliverables of the project, identifies and manages risks and issues, escalates issues to sponsors and/or Project Executive roles as necessary, and executes project closure (which includes lessons learned and process improvements). Ultimately, the project manager is accountable and responsible for delivering a project that meets requirements, functionality, cost, schedule, and quality, as agreed upon during the process of project initiation. Responsibilities include: Managing scope definition Project planning and control Managing and executing to the project plan Developing a communications plan Establishing acceptance criteria Managing and coordinating the resources on the project team Reporting and tracking project status and costs Bilingual - Fluent with English and Japanese (preferably Level 1 language proficiency certification) Travel to Japan may or may not be required (expenses will be covered) Strong PC technical skills -- MS Project, Word, PowerPoint Our opportunities are numerous...
