GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Top agents in New Jersey are looking for part time and full time Property Casualty Sales Specialists to serve as their key sales associates in expanding their P/C business. These agents have a large book of existing life insurance business and other product clientele. The Property and Casualty Sales Specialist will engage in cross sale efforts of existing client bases as well as work with agent and company to develop and implement new business marketing and sales programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· To serve as agent’s key sales and service associate for property/casualty sales, responsible for quoting business and effectively closing quotes to sales.
· Implement effective cross sell campaigns and follow procedures to round out established and new clients in multiple product relationships.
· Implement new approaches to marketing and sales to attract new property and casualty leads to agent.
· Facilitate a sales culture within agent’s office to maximize retention, customer satisfaction, up-sell and cross sell opportunities with each customer interaction.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 3-5 years experience in a sales oriented position within an agency or company call center.
· Proven track record of delivering excellent sales results.
· In depth knowledge of personal lines property casualty products.
· Ability to define and relate appropriate products to the specific needs of customers.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Products (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint).
· Working knowledge of internet explorer and other internet based applications, Lotus Notes and other client databases.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Possession of a New Jersey Property and Casualty Producer License in good standing is required.
