Allstate was founded in 1931 and became a publicly traded company in 1993.The purpose of this position is to support the ongoing development, execution and measurement of search marketing acquisition programs that support the Direct Channel.  This is a newly created position due to the exciting growth of our online business and customer acquisition strategy.   The scope of the job is to identify, communicate, and execute search engine marketing tactics by managing projects in search, online and/or Internet marketing areas to drive acquisition, meet business goals, and improve the customer experience.  Additional responsibilities of this position include: Identifying and executing testing of new Internet technologies to drive acquisition and improve the customer experience Analyzing and reporting on program effectiveness using web analytics and ad tracking tools to provide recommendations to optimize campaigns and site conversions Developing an understanding of and making recommendations on cohesion and leveraging of organic and paid rankings with online advertising Continually evaluating and improving the effectiveness of campaigns through creative testing, bid management, landing page optimization, and other tactics This individual will lead internal and external cross-functional teams.  The ability to work effectively and efficiently with other areas both internally and externally is essential in order to build program support. The ideal candidate will be able to utilize data and results to drive insightful decisions resulting in increased growth.
