Part-time Reports Analyst

This position is located in Whitehouse, NJ reporting to the Operations Manager/AVP of Accident Benefit & Life.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Reports Analyst, you are accountable for:

* Providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis of the ABL North American Zone (NAZ) book of business performance. The candidate will participate and actively engage in the compilation and analysis of NAZ's various daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages-which measures actual results on a variety of metrics vs. plan and/or current period results vs. prior period.

* Perform analysis of results against forecasts and expectations, communicating results and areas of concern to Profit Center Heads and Zone Management.

* Periodically assess the quality, accuracy and completeness of data/reports and work with staff to resolve anomalies.

* Perform weekly reporting on a variety of sales activities and new business generation.

* Assist in the design and implementation of NAZ's service metrics.

* Perform monthly controllable expense reviews identifying and correcting inaccurate cross-charges to NAZ.

* Research and analysis of premium and expense questions as requested by various internal customers. A high level of energy and commitment to customer service is needed to successfully complete these other tasks in the department.

* Other Duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint is required. Knowledge and usage of Access, FOCUS and other database skills (or the ability to learn those skills quickly) strongly preferred.

* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, technical knowledge, organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to customer service.

* Demonstrated teamwork skills and ability to influence/negotiate others to resolve business problems.

Analytical and Technical skill:

* Provide accurate data and analysis in a timely fashion.
* Timely completion and clear presentation of reports and metrics.
* Demonstrated good problem solving skills.
* Effective use of technology

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent

* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Customer Service/Insurance Experience.

*PART-TIME POSITION WORKING UP TO 19 HOURS PER WEEK*
