WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?Process payments through mail extraction equipment Prepare premium payments for processing through remittance equipment Enter premium payment information Prepare material for imaging and scanning Scan and index documents Enter data and other types of information (e.g., change of address) Operate computer workstation for inquiry and creation of remittance documents Balance checks to remittance listings and completing cash reconciliation Perform reconciling responsibilities

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?Ability to operate equipment related to high-speed extraction, data capture/encoding, data entry and imaging/scanning Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting objects weighing up to 20 pounds, reaching, stacking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for prolonged periods Ability to perform routine, repetitive work

ITEMS OF NOTEMay be required to work a non-standard workweek, irregular hours, multiple shifts and holidays May be required to travel via commercial transportation and/or drive motor vehicles to various State Farm business locations, seminars, conferences and or industry meetings Due to fiduciary responsibility, all applicants subject to credit check

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis posting is for 3 positions in the Payments Center, two are in the 50s unit and one will be in the Keying unit. Interviews will be conducted and candidates can be hired for either unit. The starting schedule for new hires will be 5am - 1:15pm M-F.
